Many congratulations are in order for the OB Golf Society team who overcame Winchester 3.5 to 1.5 in the final to win the Halford Hewitt Cup for the first time since the competition began in 1924 and Bradfield joined the competition in 1927. The team beat Blundell's, Whitgift, Wellington, Harrow and Cranleigh en route to the final and were delighted to see Bradfield's name engraved on the honours board at The Royal Cinque Ports Golf Club. Fourth Time Lucky
The Halford Hewitt is one of Britain’s most competitive golf tournaments, contested between teams of 10 former pupils from the schools which make up the membership of the Public Schools Golfing Society. It is the fourth time that Bradfield have made it to the final, with previous finals in 1988, 2001 & 2014 and so that made the victory this year even sweeter.
