One of the most unique events in the British Golfing Calendar took place at Sunningdale Golf Course on Sunday 15 September - The British Speedgolf Championships... like golf, but faster!

The 2024 British Speedgolf Championships saw a record-breaking field of 56 global players for the UK’s fastest golf event. It proved the most inclusive with a mixture of PGA Pros, amateurs, women, men, teens and seniors vying for individual category success over 18 holes. The overall British Speedgolf Championship title was contested by the more accomplished ‘Elite’ field of 15 who played 36 holes for the Championship title.

The event proved to be a double success for Old Bradfieldians;

Adam Williams (E 87-92) competing on the 36 hole elite course was awarded 'The Senior's Champion' title, whilst Matt McCleery (G 10-15) playing the 18 hole amateur course was the 'The Men’s Amateur Champion'.

Adam goes on to complete in the World Championships in Japan in November, we wish him the very best of luck!
