The Bradfield Waifs started their 2024 cricket season with a game at Bradfield on Pit against King's College, Taunton.
The First Round of the Cricketer Cup took place on Sunday 9 June away. The Bradfield Waifs 301-8 (50 overs) beat Old Monmothians 192 (40.2 overs) by 109 runs.
For anyone keen to play or support the Waifs the full fixture list is available below and we have our fingers tightly crossed that they do well this year as they did in 2022 when they won the Cricketer Cup - the winning team featured above.
The Cricketer Cup have also launched an Over 50s Cup, so anyone who is playing regularly and who would be interested would be most welcome to get in touch with Charlie Russell (E 98-03), George Bryans (G 07-12) or Rupert Cox (F 81-86) in the first instance.
