Our longest running regional OB lunch had its best ever attendance with 25 Bradfieldians joining The Bradfield Society at Brasserie Blanc in Winchester on Friday 8 March 2019.
Described as 'a delightful lunch in welcoming surroundings', Bradfieldians of all generations attended from Peter Short and Stephen Skurray who left Bradfield in the 1950s to our most recent leaver being Alex Hammond who left in 2006. Some guests are now parents of recent and current Bradfield students, so it is wonderful that the whole Hampshire event caters for all generations of Bradfieldians. Some last met over 40 years ago in a Classics class and Richard Kinder afterwards commented that ‘House reunions may suit some people, but the chance to meet classmates and friends from across the College was something that many people treasure more’.
Those in attendance were: Tom Espley (A 69-74), James Kendall (A 85-90), Will Kendall (A 87-92), Chris Jenkins (B 63-68), Hugo Norman (B 79-84), Peter Came (D 77-81), Alex Hammond (D 01-06), Tom Raban (D 75-80), Julian Spencer (D 70-74), Edward Brandt (E 81-83), Nick Duncan (A 64-69), Richard Burningham (E 60-65), Peter Chrismas (E 58-63), Jonathan Jesty (E 72-76), Nick Kingsford (E 65-68), Andy Gent (F 80-85), Andrew Sellick (F 78-83), Derek Smith (F 77-82), Richard Kinder (G 70-75) Charlie Kitson (G 80-85), Oliver Spark (G 80-95, James Croser (H 71-76), Will Oscroft (A 83-88), Peter Short (G 47-50) and Stephan Skurray (E 46-50).
Tony Henderson (E 79-84) was sadly unable to join us on the day.
