As the country adapts to the challenges of the present circumstances, we wanted to share a few stories about the impact on the Bradfield community across all generations.
Firstly, we must thank the contributions of those members of the Bradfield community working in the NHS and other essential services for their efforts during this difficult time. Among them, we wanted to recognise some current members of College staff who are assisting in the fight against COVID-19. Dr Moore & Dr Ogbe are volunteering to help test NHS staff for COVID-19 (more information
here) while Mr Fuller, our Head of Design, has been using our facilities to 3D-print protective gear for the local NHS hospitals and centres (more information
here). If any Old Bradfieldians or members of the Bradfield community would like to share their stories and perspectives, we would love to hear from you.
Regrettably we also heard recently about the first Old Bradfieldian to pass away due to the virus. Charles Clore (D 47-52), much loved by his peers, passed away last week. You can read the full announcement
here. We will try our best to keep the community informed to the best of our ability and you can check
this page for all our announcements and obituaries.
Once again, we send our best wishes to the whole Bradfield community and want to remind you that the Bradfield Society remains open to help the community in any way it can. You can contact us at
bradfieldsociety@bradfieldcollege.org.uk.
