It was a pleasure to welcome back a group of friends for whom St Andrew's Church was an important part of their early lives by virtue of them living locally in the village area when they were younger. Bradfieldians Robin Gilford (H 74-79) who is now an author and Tim Lane (C 72-75) along with Tim's sister returned to Bradfield for a nostalgic visit to see what has become of the church as St Andrew's Study Centre today. They were impressed with the changes that the College have made and thrilled to see inside having regularly visited the graveyard over the years. Robin as the son of the College Accountant at the time he was at Bradfield also lived in Bryn Cottage as a child and the group are photographed outside the cottage during their tour of the college.
A picture of The Close in 1978 features Robin on the back row with Housemaster Mr Parkinson and his family. Wondering how many other Bradfieldians can see themselves amongst this large group from 1978?
