Halford Hewitt team captain, Jonny Rafferty (H 03-08) is pleased to announce the selection of the 2026 squad, defenders of the 2025 title.

The Halford Hewitt will start on 9 April on the traditional courses of Royal St Georges and Royal Cinque Ports down on the south coast, spectators are most welcome. The Halford Hewitt – Public Schools' Golf Tournament

2026 is also the Centenary of the OB Golfing Society

This year is the Centenary for The Old Bradfieldian Golfing Society and there will be a number of special events to celebrate this milestone.

The Club is organising a series of events to mark the Centenary for members of the Club, including;

Golf Day at Bradfield – 6th June

Centenary Foursomes  – 24/25th September

Centenary Dinner – 11th November

John Allday Centenary Fund

On 12th November 2025 at our Annual Dinner our President launched The John Allday Centenary Fund with the purpose of creating a firm financial basis for the future of the OBGS and especially our Halford Hewitt campaignand the club are pleased to report that they have already received several very generous donations in support of this fund
