| The Bradfield Club in Peckham |
Last night Faulkner’s pupils attended a briefing by The Bradfield Club in Chapel. An apposite day on which to address the College, as its Commercial Road venue was purchased and presented to the Club by a Bradfield parent as a memorial to Old Bradfieldians, including two of his own sons, and club members who had died in the First World War.
Current Bradfieldians listened intently to the address by Kit Pirnie, Chair of the Youth Work Committee and Dan Campbell, Bradfield Club Manager who spoke about the current work of the Club and the important role it plays within the community in Peckham, giving its members a place of sanctuary in which to learn, play and keep fit.
The talk was followed by the Club AGM and post AGM dinner, hosted by the Head and new Trustee, Jeremy Quartermain.
