Bradfield has a long-established reputation for outstanding pastoral care. At the heart of our community is a commitment to ensuring that every pupil feels supported, valued and able to thrive. The new Health & Wellness Centre will bring together medical care, talking therapies and physiotherapy in a single, purpose-built space at the heart of the College. Calm, welcoming and thoughtfully designed, it will enable prevention, treatment and rehabilitation to sit alongside one another — reflecting the breadth and ambition of the care we provide.
The world our pupils are navigating is increasingly complex, and access to the right care and guidance, in the right environment, is vital. For our pupils, this will make a real and lasting difference.
The Health and Wellness Giving Day is live and taking place over the next couple of days to raise funds for the New Health and Wellness Centre, which falls during Mental Health Awareness Week.
In addition to the House Challenges of sharing 'Wellness Moments that Lift Us', there are a plethora of activities taking place across the College to give pupils the opportunity to engage on the topic of Mental Health and how they can improve their resilience including
The Colour Run, Early morning yoga, Wellness Talks, British Military Fitness, ‘Face Your Phobias’ workshops, ‘Commando’ workouts, Bucklebury Farm Park Calming Petting Zoo.
