Noel Rae (D 46-51) passed away on the 16th April 2026, aged 93. Noel was a noted historian and author in the USA and was the younger brother of Ian Rae (D 43-47), also deceased. While at Bradfield, Noel was a House prefect and member of various societies: Discussion Society, Shakespeare Society, and Les Amis de Moliere. He won the Wilder Divinity Prize, Wanklyn Prize, and Head Master's Essay Prize.
