It is fabulous to see the success on the international racing circuit of OB Pasu 'Luang' Liptapanlop who achieved a second and third place in the Porsche Sprint Trophy Thailand GT4 last season. This is one of many activities which occupy Pasu's life in Thailand where he is also involved as Co-founder of Elite Securities Company, Director at RoboWealth and also Co-founder of TribeBKK.

Pasu says that his passion for racing started when he moved back to work in Thailand after Bradfield and first got into go-karting. He then progressed into the Toyota One Make Race series where every competitor has the same car to help them to improve their skills. He was then approached by Porsche in Thailand to race in the inaugural GT4 series, where the cars have more speed, power and aerodynamics and it was then that it became a serious hobby and more competitive!

In the opening race of the 2019 Thailand Super Series GTC class at the Chang International Circuit, Buriram at the end of October, Pasu made an excellent start on board the #46 AAS Motorsport Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport, moving from second into the lead, passing team-made Nattachak Hanjitkasem. After suffering damage from contact Pasu dropped behind his team-mate on the final lap and finished second in the race. When asked if Pasu owns any of the cars himself, he said that his team have two Porches in the GT4 series and another Bentley GT3 and while he races with the team, it comes with the added benefit of their technical knowledge and expertise, cars and the service to keep them running.

The 2020 season has not gone ahead as planned, but we wish Pasu well in future races..
