Charlie Waller Carol Service 2025

✨ Bradfield hosted its first carol service of the season yesterday evening in support of the Charlie Waller Trust.

A huge thank you to the Bradfield College Chapel Choir and Elstree Chapel Choir for their beautiful performances, which made the evening truly magical. 🙏🎵

We’re so grateful to support this incredible charity,

'Charlie Waller was a strong, funny, popular, good-looking and kind young man, with a close and loving family. He was the life and soul of every party, a talented actor with a mesmerising stage presence and a formidable rugby player. He was also flying high in his chosen career in advertising. To the outside world, he had everything to live for, yet in September 1997 he died by suicide at the age of 28.'

Charlie was not an Old Bradfieldian, he attended Elstree then Radley, but the importance of this incredible charity cannot be understated especially at a time when mental health challenges among children and young people are on the rise. One in five young people experience common mental health problems like anxiety or depression, making events like this so important.

Learn more about The Charlie Waller Trust set up as a way of helping young people struggling with depression. Together, we can raise awareness and help provide support for those who need it most. 🌟
