Much loved Hillside matron Sandie Ankers is due to retire at the end of the Michaelmas term having worked at Bradfield for 21 years. It will be a very sad day for Hillsiders who have immense fondness for Sandie who is very much their Mum away from home. The House is very keen to give Sandie the send-off that she deserves and we are making plans for her departure.
