Louis de Bernieres (D 68-72) leads the official opening of the St Andrew's Study Centre

The College had the pleasure of hosting Louis de Bernieres (D 68-72) on Saturday as his visited Bradfield for the official opening of the St Andrew's Study Centre. The world famous author of Captain Corelli's Mandolin delivered literary workshops to some incredibly fortunate pupils in the St Andrew's Study Centre prior to the opening that was attended by 125 guests including many of the parent and alumni donors to the St Andrew's Project.

The Study Centre opened for pupil use at the start of the Summer term with those cohorts collectively achieving the best set of examination results that Bradfield has see outside of Covid conditions.

The St Andrew's Study Centre project was carried out by Education Architects Squires and Brown - one of the leading architectural practices in the country working exclusively within the education sector. Based in Cheshire, they have clients throughout the UK and overseas.
