Here is a look back at Bradfield's first ISFA Cup final in 2003 against Bolton School played at Northampton Town FC on Tuesday 25th March 2003. A close game that sadly ended in a 0-1 loss, a great season nonetheless for a Bradfield team that reached the final conceding only 1 goal.
The photograph above shows the legendary Tom Storer (A 99-04) who was a popular member of the 2003 team and identified by Nick Woodroffe (D 99-04). Andy Platt (C 98-03) remembers the game and said "it's great to feel part of what looks like a very successful journey for the football team" since those days in 2003. Chris Peters (D 99-04) said it brought back "great memories", although Marc Sydenham (G 98-03) shared "it wasn't quite the result we were looking for".
The Captain on the night was Ross Knight (G 98-03) along with Julian Stutley (G 98-03), Ben McGhee (G 99-03), Jon Prince (D 99-04), James Morris (G 98-03), Mike Kember (D 98-03), Steven Parra (F 98-03), Mathew Ellis (G 00-03), Richard Stutley (G 00-05), Edwin Cheung (D 99-04) and Christian Brands (H 01-03). Members of the College staff Dan Clark and Steve Long were the two coaching the Bradfield football team.
