Friends of Bradfield Golf

Enjoys sunny November day

There was a magnificent turn out of 27 golfers (the best of the year!) helped by a significant last minute promotion by Andrea Kean in the Sports Centre and golf team captains.

The 9 holes format encouraged 4 Ladies to join us for the Texas Scramble format carefully organised by Doug Wylie.

Everyone enjoyed a very sociable morning with a very close result.  The blue sky brightening the magnificent autumn colours around the slightly muddy course.

The Friends Challenge Shield was presented to the winners - Tony Towner, Jo Bedwell and young Alex Lett.  The runners up were Mike Goodwin, Anita McClelland and Tony Fisher.

Prizes and refreshments were kindly offered by the College.

The photograph above shows the winners   Jo, Alex and Tony with Doug in background and Bradfieldian Mike Gush (B 62-67) whose tireless work on behalf of the Friends of Bradfield make this annual tournament possible.
