2025 Leavers

The Bradfield Society is your Society and being member has a huge range of benefits:

Some will kick in during your remaining time at Bradfield…

1. Travel Awards – are you taking a gap year? How are you funding it? The Bradfield Society hosts the Travel Awards each year, we offer 3 Travel awards of £250 in the categories of Eco-Travel, Adventure Travel and Charitable Endeavour – As a member of the Bradfield Society you can apply for these awards.

2. Leavers’ Photo – make sure you don’t miss the U6 Leavers’ photo on the 7th of May – these photos usually cost £28 but members of the Bradfield Society are given a large discount and can get it for just £12.

3. Leavers’ Ball – College photographers will be taking photos at your Leavers’ Ball drinks reception and will upload photos onto the 2025 Leavers Club, which you will be able to see as a registered member of the Bradfield Society.

4. Results Day Celebration – for the first time, this summer there will be a Results Day celebration -come and pick up your A-level results or celebrate your IB results with your year group at the end of the summer, Thursday 14 August in the Stunt Pavilion, register your interest HERE

Some are benefits for life…

5. Networking – in a tough and competitive job market, Bradfield doesn’t just give you academic results – it gives you an immediate network of highly-skilled and well-connected OBs and parents across a wide range of professions who you can reach out to ask for advice, contact to seek mentoring or even jobs.

6. Reunions – last summer we hosted 60 OBs from the Class of 1994 who were celebrating their 30-year reunion. We also helped organise a Reunion for 40 OBs in a pub in Clapham who were getting together for their 10-year Reunion. We have already pencilled in your 3 Year reunion – you just need to sign up to the Bradfield Society to be invited.

7. Alumni Clubs – the Bradfield Society has several different OB Clubs you can join, from regional and professional to sporting. Our sporting Clubs are active and play regular fixtures - ranging from the hugely successful cricket team called the Waifs which Mr Ettridge plays for, to football, shooting, running, sailing, squash, netball and hockey…. Can't see a club you want? As a member of the Bradfield Society you can always set one up.

8. Private Member Clubs – if you like going out in London, we have close relationships with a few private members clubs who offer greatly reduced rates for their young members. To join a Club you usually have to be recommended and seconded by current members, but as an Associated School with some London Clubs, if you are a member of the Bradfield Society we can help with letters of recommendation from the Headmaster to fast-track your application.

9. Reduced Rate Bradfield Sports Centre Membership - Alumni aged 25 years and under receive a 50% discount on sports complex membership and can also take advantage of the Youth Rate for Golf (age 19-25) at the Bradfield College Golf Course. All enquiries to frontdesk@bradfieldcollege.org.uk

10. Always a Bradfieldian – stay connected – we have currently have 4500 OBs that we regularly communicate with about events and news of the College – the oldest living OB is a man called Mark Cole who is 95 and was in G House from 1944 to 1946 and he still reads our emails today.

We’re here to help – it’s great to be part of a vibrant, diverse and talented community and to take the benefit of being part of that community, so if you need a hand with anything on the Bradfield Society site do reach out to the Bradfield Society team, we’re here to help. Email us on bradfieldsociety@bradfieldcollege.org.uk

And what do we want from you?

We want you to Be Involved. Stay in touch, read our emails, like our instagram posts, come to our events, connect with other OBs, come back and give careers advice, recommend Bradfield to others and perhaps in the future, if you are in a position where you can give back financially, join other members of the OB community who have donated to the Bradfield Foundation and helped create the Bradfield that you have enjoyed and loved – from the Greek Theatre, Science Centre and Music Hall to the Golf Course, Clay Tennis Courts and most recently the St Andrews Study Centre – all of these amazing facilities would not have been possible without the philanthropic support of our alumni community.
