Young filmmakers at Bradfield are making their mark at the Cinemagic Flimmaker Awards this year with three Film Studies pupils and recent leavers having films shortlisted by the judges from over 600 short film submissions. Genres included Animation, Documentary, Drama, Experimental, Fantastic, Music Video and Short Shorts.
One of the films directed by Dylan (D 16-21) is entitled 33 and explores the experiences of black pupils at Bradfield. It also includes comments and insights from Old Bradfieldian Shelvin Gumbs (G 07-09) who now teaches at the College. Dylan commented that "this film offered a space to discuss racial issues and experiences without judgement."
