The Nicholson Cricketer Cup Final took place at Arundel Castle on Sunday 13 August 2023. Both sides in the final this year had won more finals than any other teams - Tonbridge with 16 wins and Malvern with 10. The next highest in historical importance are last year’s winners, Bradfield Waifs, with 4 wins in 1996, 1997, 2005 and 2022. In addition both Malvern and Tonbridge have been the runners-up in another 6 finals before. This year it was the Old Malvernians who won the Cup.

Bradfield Waifs went out at the quarter-final stage playing against the Old Tonbridgians at Bradfield in July.

Bradfield Waifs enjoyed their win in 2022 and celebrating with all generations of Bradfield cricketing alumni at a special dinner back in April 2023 and look forward to challenging again for the Cup next season. See review of the Cup Dinner here
