Hi Old Bradfieldian Runners,

Well done to those who braved the rain and the mud in December for the Huxham V and Huxham X runs. If you'd like to read more about the Winter Bradfield Day 2023 then you can read the article here on the Bradfield Society website. Well done to Hugo Donovan (01:12:33) and Katie O'Hare (01:21:32) who were fastest male and female, respectively in the Huxham X. I was a bad exemplar for the Running Club and decided to swap the Huxham X run for some charity Hockey for Mossy ... if you hadn't heard already, the Robinson "Froot Shoots" emerged victorious after a closely-fought final against the Wall family team. But next year it will be back to the Huxham and the hills.

Onto the Bostelmann. Registration is now open 🙂 Please see the details below and send me an email if you'd like to register. I'm also thinking about organising an informal pub dinner at The Bull Inn, Stanford Dingley (RG7 6LS). If we have enough interest in doing a pub dinner we can head there after the Bostelmann run (it's a 7-minute drive from the College).

Bostelmann 2024 registration

Date and start time: Saturday 9th March, 2pm (registration from 1.30pm) 

Location: Stunt Pavilion, Bradfield College, Bradfield, Berkshire, RG7 6AU 

Details: A 5.46-miles XC race between current pupils at the College and Old Bradfieldians. Starting and finishing at Stunt Pavilion, we run the old 'Cheese' route. Entry open to all Bradfield Society members.

Parking: Parking will be in the Bradfield Sports Complex car park. Please note the visitor cark park is currently unavailable due to the St Andrews Project.

Showers: TBC - I will confirm nearer the time.

Food & Drink: Hot drinks / squash will kindly be provided by the College.
