Oscar Sanger (G 14-19) to swim across Lake Geneva

Having had five amazing years at Bradfield (G 14-19), I am currently at the University of Exeter and have spent the last year on exchange in Switzerland.

In July, I will be attempting to swim from Switzerland to France across Lake Geneva (14 km) in order to raise money for Beat, the UK's largest eating disorder charity.

Food eating disorders continue to rise amongst young individuals, with around 24% of university students suffering from some form of eating disorder during their time at university (National Eating Disorder Association).

The major illness is especially close to my heart with my cousin having been in and out of hospital during the last couple of years with severe anorexia.

I have seen firsthand the devastating effects of the disease for all involved. I would be hugely grateful for any support from the Bradfield community.

Please find the link to my fundraising page.
