The SJA British Sports Journalism Awards took place on Monday 25th February 2019. The SJA recognises the creme de la creme of sports journalism whether it be writing, photography or broadcast. Supported by Canon and  European Professional Club Rugby, the awards are widely regarded as the Oscars of the sporting journalism industry.

Bradfieldian Owen Slot (A 80-85), The Times’ Chief Rugby correspondent, was named Rugby writer of the year at this year's awards, and for the second successive year! Huge congratulations to Owen on a superb achievement!
