The College were really excited to host Rick Blaskey (G 66-71) as he returned to Bradfield to deliver a combined Music/ Business Minerva Lecture to pupils last Thursday.

Rick has spent over 30 years at the forefront of the global music industry, working with leading artists, brands and major events including the FIFA World Cup and the Olympic Games. He has collaborated with artists such as Emeli Sandé, Paloma Faith, Andrea Bocelli and Rod Stewart, and worked with major global brands and media partners.

The lecture provided a fascinating insight into the music industry; from artists and labels to streaming, revenue and global events as well as how the industry operates behind the scenes. Brilliantly engaging, the pupils asked lots of questions and made the most of having the expert in the room.

We look forward to seeing Rick back at Bradfield again soon.
