Francesa Biggar (B 86-88) returns

To watch daughter direct play

Francesca Biggar (B 86-88) is a current parent to daughters Isabella (K13) and Romilly (K12) and on Tuesday night Romilly directed and starred in a pupil led production. Romilly, who is taking A levels in Drama, Computer Science and Maths initiated the production with the support of Drama teacher, Rosie Davies. Romilly has led from the front, coordinating casting, rehearsals, drafting the programme. She also enlisted pupil support to manage the production support tech. A last minute illness in the cast meant that Romilly also had to step in as the lead character, no mean feat and testament to her professionalism and rounded ability. Francesca fulfilled the role of proud mum, delighted to watch her daughter take this leading role and receive a well-earned bouquet for flowers to recognise her achievement.

One of the first girls to attend Bradfield, Francesca was one of only 11 girls at the College. She is the only girl to have been in the same house as her brother, Ben Biggar, who followed her into B House in 1989.
