The Bradfield Society is very sorry to announce the passing of Bradfieldian John E Bodie OBE (C 44-48) on 30th September 2023 at 93 years of age. John was known to generations of Bradfieldians and will be remembered as a deeply loyal, generous and positive advocate and supporter of the College. A former member of Council (1986-2000) and Trustee of the Bradfield Foundation, John worked tirelessly to help fundraise alongside his contemporaries for College projects including the Squash Courts which bear his name, Golf Course, Science Centre and Greek Theatre rebuild. John was also a passionate supporter of the Bradfield Waifs.
The College’s thoughts are with his family and in particular his wife Judy, children Grace, Ben and grandchildren Humphrey and Jeanie.
