Can you Handle the Huxham X?
A fantastic pre-festive season running challenge; this 10 mile course feels more like a half-marathon owing to the terrain and the weather can sometimes be unkind, so it's one train for and crossing the finish line feels like winning. A super popular event in the community with over 100 registrants every year, there's great camaraderie amongst the runners and tea afterwards in hall makes it a great trip out.
Entry open to all Bradfield Society members - alumni, parents and friends - NB pupils keen to run must be Y11 and above
Runners are organised into time-based groups, you select your running pace during registration, and those who predict that they will run slowest will be set off in earlier groups. Individual runs will be centrally timed, this timing system is set up in advance so last minute changes mean that your run time may not be accurately recorded - so please do notify us of any changes to the run group no later than a week before the event.
