Welcome to the world of epic eco-travel.
Biostays was established by Edgar Whalley (G 05-10) in response to a ski holiday in Japan when he noticed the lack of snow, caused by the rapidly worsening global climate crisis. Ed decided there had to be a way of travelling while giving back to the planet and his travel business Biostays was born.
Every stay on the website is handpicked and environment-friendly. It also highlights nature experiences which you may encounter during your stay. Biostays are looking to change the travel industry and help save the planet while exploring it.
Partnering with the Rainforest Trust, Biostays are saving at least 2 acres of rainforest with every booking made and have so far protected 738 acres of rainforest - equivalent to 560 football fields - removing 73,800 tonnes of CO2 from the atmosphere. Their aim is to protect one million acres of rainforest by 2025.
Why not have a look at the destinations on offer and see where you would like to explore on their website here: https://www.biostays.com/stays/
